If you know where to go, you can finish the game easily under 3 hours. Speedrunning the game in 5:41 is way easier than it sounds. Hard Mode is available right from the start and if you want to get the platinum quickly, you should start on Hard Mode for a reason. This time around you do not have to finish the game on Normal first. Step 2: Hard Mode, Speedrun, Time Attacks If you have played the game before, you are experienced in it and you want to get the platinum as fast as possible, I recommend skipping Step 1 and going straight into Step 2. Since you will be finishing the game multiple times, missing it isn’t a huge problem anyway. Just make a manual save after Colossus #15 and you’ll be safe.Īfter defeating the last Colossus you will have the chance to obtain the missable trophy Dormin’s Rage (more info below). Go any further and there won’t be a way to go back, thus missing the trophy. Now is the time to get all shrines for trophy Seeking Salvation. Once you have finished all the fights, you should receive a whole bunch of the trophies in the game.Īfter defeating Colossus #15 (on your way to Colossus #16), you will be able to reach the last shrine location behind a locked gate that was previously inaccessible. Follow the light your sword emits in order to find the next Colossus you need to fight. On your first playthrough I would highly recommend just playing the game the way it was intended. Step 1: First Playthough, Getting to Know the Game It is, however, worth mentioning that you can finish the game in about 2-3 hours on your new game + playthroughs, since you already know where to go and how to defeat the Colossi. Unfortunately for people who don’t like playing the same game multiple times, you will have to finish the game probably 5 or 6 times in order to max out your stamina for a trophy. The trophy list is similar to the PS3 version of the game, with few exceptions. The updated graphics look amazing and the updated controls make the game even more fun than it was before. An amazing experience for people who have never played the original, as well as for people who did. The gameplay hasn’t changed since the original release: you slay Colossi one after one to reach your final goal. same with many other great games.Welcome to the Shadow of the Colossus PS4 Remake Trophy Guide! The PS4 Remake of the all-time best PS2 classic. at least give you good directions or people wont' bother finishing the game which is a HUGE flaw. Oh and riding to the next battle was ok the first time, but I know like at least 5 people who never found a monster and just stopped playing - horrible design decision imo to make it abstract where the monsters are. obviously they had to do the controls the way they did because otherwise there wouldn't be any depth to the battles.duh. some of the most epic sounding battles take all the epicness out of the picture with the camera decisions like when you are riding that one thing under water and into the air, the camera is so close and zoomed in that you have no sense of what is around you. Last boss is boring and frustrating because of camera. It's really about how the player uses it and in combination with other buttons. GOD does a lot with one button and makes the player feel in control at all times and that is no easy thing to do.
